Welcome to the Pub Dates newsletter! We’re so glad you’re here.
This newsletter is released as a companion to each podcast episode, and we use it to share the visual elements of our discussion — from mood boards to design sketches, from photos to secret giveaways just for subscribers.
In episode fifty we held a virtual launch party for Fyrebirds — we know so many of you aren’t able to make it to an in-person event, so we ran an interview exactly as we would if you were there. If you haven’t yet, we’d love you to join us for the party!
If for some unfathomable reason you still don’t have your copy, here are all the US purchase links for Fyrebirds.
And if you’re an Aussie, you can find Fyrebirds at Dymocks, Readings, Amazon, QBD and your local independent bookshop.

Fyrebirds launch week!
Fyrebirds launch week kicked off with a fabulous joint launch party here in Melbourne — behold the book display pictures below, that the wonderful crew at Dymocks rigged up! Although The Heart of the World won’t be out in the US until Sept 17th, here in Australia we share a launch date, and that meant a launch party.
A bunch of fantastic Pub Dates listeners attended — thank you so much for saying hello in the signing line! And to everyone who attended, a huge thank you for making our slightly unorthodox joint event a success!
If you couldn’t join us — well, that’s exactly why we made our launch episode, which was a joy to record.
There was action afoot all over the place, though. We wanted to share some of our favourite pics from readers who are getting their hands on Fyrebirds…
And really just for your entertainment, because if you’ve made it this far you’re going to be reading Fyrebirds, this fabulous reminder of all that awaits you…
A note just from Amie, here: As listeners know, Kate has both a book and a baby due out at the same time. I’ve been there — the same thing happened to me when Aurora Rising launched — and it’s exhausting. Any extra effort you have in the tank to cheer for Fyrebirds would be such a gift to Kate — we have the best listeners, and such an amazing community. Thank you for all you do to support us!
Fyrebirds preorder offer: time is running out!
Readers, it’s your very last chance to claim your Fyrebirds swag! (I - Amie - got to see these in person at our Melbourne launch party, and the artwork is GORGEOUS. Don’t miss out! Your time is nearly up — get your claims in this week by hitting the button below!
