I'm spoiled for choice when it comes to picking an 'out-of-the-gate' favorite character, but I'm going to go with Alec from 'Nightbirds' and Keegan from 'Isles' - one who wants to burn down the world (and maybe accidentally does), and one who wants to hide away from the world. I can relate to both - they sound a lot of fun.

I also thought of an artist that does really amazing work! Her name is Rosie (instagram: @rosiethorns88) She does papercraft and digital work, and it's amazing! She actually did the inside jacket for one of the special editions of Stephanie Garber's Once Upon a Broken Heart. She's really good!
Favorite character for Nightbirds has to be Sayer! That was honestly a no-brainer for me because her description gives me such Inej Ghafa vibes and I LOVE it!! For Isles I was torn between Leander and Jude. I completely sympathize with Jude's situation and am so excited about his role in the story, but I think Leander has to be my favorite. I am such a sucker for a good character arc, and his sounds like it will leave me in a puddle on the floor! I am so excited for these books, and I love that you created this podcast!!
Well, Jude had me at bare knuckles boxing, but I’m also ready to love Selly. And I’m intrigued by all the Nightbirds, but I’m excited about Mathilde especially!
